29,000 expats have been deported in the year 2016, local media reported. As per the report, almost 80 expats deported daily which indicates deportation has been accelerated more than ever. 

The reasons for deporting those expats varied between residency law violations and criminal violations such as traffic law violations, felonies and crimes. According to reports 26 percent of deportees are Indians, rest are Egyptians, Philippines, Ethiopian, Sri Lankan and Bangladeshis.
